Ingredients
1 / 2 cup caster sugar
60g butter
1 egg
1 / 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 / 2 cup milk
2 dessert spoons cocoa
1 cup Self Raising flour
Sauce
1 / 2 cup castor sugar
2 dessert spoons cocoa (mix sugar and cocoa together)
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in order as above.
Sprinkle sugar and cocoa over the top.
Very slowly, pour 1 1 / 2 cups of hot water over the top.
Bake in a moderate oven for 35 - 40 minutes.
Serve with cream
