Sloppy Joes Recipe



Ingredients:
3/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 pound extra lean ground beef
2 cups no-salt-added tomato sauce
1 TSP chili powder
2 TSP low sodium soy sauce
1/2 TSP sugar substitute
1/2 TSP dried oregano
1/8 TSP black pepper

Method:
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add first 2 ingredients; cook until beef is browned, stirring to crumble. Stir in tomato sauce and next 6 ingredients (tomato sauce through black pepper); reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with brown rice or on an Ezekiel bun.
