Delicious Fairy Cakes recipe

                                                         
Ingredients:
four and a half ounces (125 grams) softened butter,
four and a half ounces (125 grams) sugar,
two eggs beaten slightly,
one teaspoon of vanilla extract,
four and a half ounces (125 grams) flour,
two tablespoons of milk.


Method:
After gathering the ingredients and preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) then place paper cases into the holes of your fairy cake pan (cupcake pan). Then in a large mixing bowl beat together the butter and sugar until fluffy using a large wooden spoon (or an electric whisk if that's your preferred weapon of choice). Slowly add the egg to the mixture then the vanilla, continually stirring as you add them. Sift half of your flour and fold it into the mixture. Add the milk and the rest of the flour until it is a smooth, well mixed batter. Next, spoon the mixture into the pan and bake for ten to twelve minutes, or until golden.
Next comes the fun part: decorating your fairy cakes! After allowing the cupcakes to cool for about ten minutes, remove the paper cups from the pan and place them onto a cooling rack to let them stand for about half an hour or until they are completely cooled. While you're waiting you can make your favorite frosting mixture, or you can just use the pre-made frosting from a container that you purchased at a store. Leaving the fairy cakes in the paper cups, decorate them with the frosting. After putting a thin layer of icing over the entire top before, add the fun decorations. You can spell words writing one letter on each cake, make smiley faces, draw trees or plants with the icing, or just about anything else that you can imagine! Just remember to be creative and have fun!
